Learn how to control (free of charge!) any remote system using only your personal mobile device. Tools needed:

- Any old discontinued mobile device

- A valid SIM card

- Electronic driver (shown below):

VDD - input signal (1.2 V) from the mobile device vibrator;

VCC - external power supply for the load (3-6 V) <> U1 - optocoupler (4n35,CNY17,PS2652 or equivalent); Note: you may find optocouplers in many devices like CRT monitors,ATX power supplies,amplifiers etc). Always use optocoplers for isolating the two parts of the scheme (IN and OUT) and protecting the mobile device!

R1 - 1K resistor

Q1 - 2N2222 transistor (or equivalent)

D1 - 1N4007 diode (or equivalent)

XMM1 - the load (the input of the system to be controlled)

Note: To get the signal out of the mobile device you need to open its shell and to connect wires on the two little vibrator terminals. Work carefully for not destroying the device's motherboard!
